DESCRIPTION:  The City of Enumclaw (pop. 11,000+) is a stable, financially sound organization in a flourishing community located in the Cascade Foothills of Western Washington. Under the direction of the City Administrator, the Finance Director is responsible for maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the City and supervising the Department of Finance as well as the administrative functions of the Municipal Court. As the new Finance Director, you would be supported by experienced city management, dedicated city council members, a strong executive leadership team, and department staff eager to work with a professional who possesses the right balance of quality local government finance, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Advanced education or training equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or financial administration is required. Candidates must have at least four years of progressively responsible governmental finance experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
