EOE.DESCRIPTION: This is a position that will assist with the development of a Cowlitz County Comprehensive Plan for which the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments (CWCOG) is the contractor. This planner will be responsible for the full process of plan research, development and public involvement. A critical role will be conducting the work under the guidance of a 15-member steering committee and coordinating the work with local government staff, sub-committees, planning commissions, elected officials and others. Research, documentation, time and process management and public relations skills a must. Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starters encouraged to apply.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in planning, community development or related subjects with three years of relevant experience.
